This inspiring event features a screening of The Last Forests Project, a powerful film by Northern California filmmakers Marco Mazza, Steve Page, and Abbey Dias, highlighting the beauty of kelp ecosystems and the urgent need to protect them.The evening will also include Holdfast: Keepers of California’s Kelp, presented by Seatrees, offering an uplifting look at the people working to restore and steward these underwater forests.
Together, these films bridge science, storytelling, and community action—inviting us all to better understand and protect our coastal waters.
