✨ Shrimpettes Interest Meeting 🦐Ever wished you had a reason to get dressed up, go out more, and be part of something fun again?
Same. So we’re building it.
The Shrimpettes is a Lafayette-based dance krewe bringing together women who want to show up, perform, costume, and fully lean into the magic of Mardi Gras (and beyond). Think dance team energy meets parade season meets a group of girls who actually want to go do things.
This is your chance to become a founding member.
At this meeting, we’ll go over:
• What the Shrimpettes is and what we’re building
• What being a member looks like (time, practices, performances, costuming)
• Opportunities to be involved (dancers, support crew, leadership roles)
• Next steps and how to officially join
We’re looking for women who:
✨ Love dancing or performing (all levels welcome)
✨ Want a creative outlet and community
✨ Are excited to commit time and energy into building something from the ground up
✨ Don’t take themselves too seriously, but will show up when it counts
No experience required — just good energy and a willingness to be part of it.
