Join Scuba Blue for a day’s diving out of Swanage with Swanage Boat Charters. This will be a 2 dive day. The Kyarra and a Drift/Wreck Dive £80
Dive 1: The Kyarra. This is probably the best known and most dived of all UK wrecks…and there is a reason for this. It is awesome, huge and full of treasures.
The Kyarra was originally a luxury passenger liner, but was put into use to collect wounded soldiers during the war. She was hit by a torpedo just as she passed the Isle Of Wight on her way to Australia to collect troops. She was loaded with Pocket watches, Perfume Bottles, Medical Supplies, Wine and Champagne. Divers are still bringing up pieces of these cargos to this day !!
The top of the wreck is at approx. 25m and the seabed at 30m making this an ideal Nitrox dive.
Dive 2: Old Harry/Peveril Ledges/Fleur De Lys wreck (we will choose the best from the conditions on the day):
Drift with the tide over one of these two fabulous sites, no finning required on this one 😂 or explore the wreck of the Fleur De Lys.
Suitable for Advanced Open Water divers and above.
