About this Event
“To live in the world without becoming aware of the meaning of the world is like wandering about in a great library without touching the books.”
― Manly P. Hall, The Secret Teachings of All Ages
Please book this date on your calendars to revisit one of history's most mysterious and enigmatic chapters: the end of the Poor Soldiers of Christ and the Temple of Solomon.
The Knights Templar, guardians of sacred knowledge and champions of the faithful, met a tragic and unjust end on Friday, 13th October, 1307. Accused of heresy and sorcery, their order was disbanded by French king Philippe IV (known as “Le Bel”), their wealth confiscated, and many of their members subjected to brutal torture. Among them, the last Grand Master, Jacques de Molay, met a fiery fate at the stake. But from the ashes of that tragic day emerged legends and mysteries that continue to captivate and confound us.
Those of you who follow my work will know that every year on the 13th of October, I always hold a talk or lecture to remember the Knights Templar, and sometimes take a field trip too with students to visit some of their graves. Once again continuing the tradition I’ve created and honoured for the past 5 years, I am holding this informal ZOOM history lecture so that we may remember the legacy of these knights who like the agnus dei on many of their tombs and Christ himself, were persecuted and suffered a tragic end.
Join me in this remembrance lecture and revisit one of history’s darkest moments. Uncover some of the truths and myths surrounding the Templars and their dramatic downfall but also take a moment to remember and honour the brave Knights of the Temple.
Please note that this talk WILL be recorded, attending the talk implies acceptance with this. Those who purchase a ticket will receive a link to the recording shortly which will remain active for 2 weeks for their own private use, so if you cannot attend in person due to time-zone constraints, you will still be able to watch it.

BIOGRAPHY
Helena B. Scott is a writer, historian, and linguist who speaks several languages as well as a mental and light trance medium, psychic investigator and wellness/ spirituality coach. She specialises in: secret history and the occult, sacred geography and ancient energies (Tantric background), Gothic literature and art history, Jungian psychology, spirituality, magic and the paranormal.
Through psychometry, the clairs, automatic writing, dowsing, tarot cards and light trance as well as traditional research, Helena attempts to solve mysteries and investigations, uncovering events purposely omitted, buried by the veil of time and history. Past collaborations over two decades include police and crime-related investigations as well as psychical research in haunted historic properties with parapsychology academics / paranormal investigators. Her last published work (a factual revisionist account and interactive occult book on Ireland’s most haunted house), Loftus The Hall of Dreams features striking photography by Steve Meyler (New Scotland Yard’s Crime Academy former head of forensic photography). Much like a crime-scene investigation but written as a Gothic story, this unique work is supported by both historical and psychical research. Helena also provides podcasts and workshops on spirituality and the paranormal while offering lectures / presentations and in many aspects of the paranormal and the occult, including property profiles/energy clearings and spirit communication.
In addition to having studied a BA in Law, with History, Anthropology, and Archaeology, Helena regularly lectures on and attends conferences/workshops/courses in these areas, and earned a Diploma in the history of magic, witchcraft, and the occult at the Imperial College London. Helena holds a Diploma in Psychic Development and various diplomas from the London College of Psychic Studies and earned a Diploma in Jungian Psychology, having also trained in archetypal psychology with Laurence Hillman. Furthermore, she has trained in psychospiritual counselling and mediumship with leading UK spiritual wellness coaches and mediums, including trance medium and psychic detectives Ann Theato and Tony Stockwell as well as at the Arthur Findlay College for the Advancement of Psychic Sciences and the London College of Psychic Studies (est. 1884), whose events she continues to attend as a member for many years. She is also a member of the legendary Ghost Club (est. 1862), the world’s oldest research association on paranormal phenomena, and the Egypt Exploration Society (est. 1882). After living in many parts of the world, Helena has chosen magical Ireland as her permanent home.

Chinon Parchment - The Chinon Parchment details a failed attempt by the Pope to preserve the Templars from the machinations of King Philip IV of France, through establishing that the Order was not heretical and was capable of reform under the aegis of the Church. Still the Templars were condemned just the same and Pope Clement was coerced by a greedy French King.
