Join us for a challenging hike from Badby to Greens Norton. This is a fabulous training hike.� ABOUT THE WALK �
� Walk the Historic Knightley Way – Sunday 6th April �
Step back in time and stride through the stunning Northamptonshire countryside as we take on the Knightley Way! �� This classic long-distance trail follows ancient footpaths once linked to the Knightley family, passing rolling fields, charming villages, and breathtaking rural views.
� Distance: Approx. 11-12 miles � Difficulty: Moderate – a good challenge but nothing too extreme! � Dog-friendly: � Yes! (As long as they don’t mind a few stiles!) � Note : This is a LINEAR walk, so we will park cars in Badby, but we also need cars at the other end in Greens Norton to shuttle people back. Please park locally and make your way to the church.
Expect sweeping landscapes, historic landmarks, and great company as we journey through this picturesque route. And of course, there’ll be plenty of stops for snacks and stories along the way! ��

Please arrive by 8.45 am we will set off at 9 am sharp . If this is your first AG walk, then please arrive nice and early and seek out the walk leader who will give you a warm welcome.

� IS THIS WALK DOG-FRIENDLY? (no extensions leads please). There are stiles, so please only small dogs.
� WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
Good walking shoes (and other clothes of course!). Bring a walking pole if you are intending in using one on your big hike.
A drink ( I like a cold drink but also a flask of coffee or hot chocolate)
A packed lunch as there are limited places to buy something along the route.
� RULES TO KEEP YOU SAFE :
-We walk in all weathers, however, if we have a weather warning then the event may be cancelled. Keep an eye on your emails and the Facebook event page for notifications of any cancellations.
-We supply free sweets at the halfway stage.
