About this Event
Rediscover the timeless music of The Kingston Trio live at Arlington Music Hall on Thursday, July 16th, 2026 at 7:00 PM.
Celebrating more than 60 years of music, The Kingston Trio continues to bring its legendary folk sound to audiences across the country as part of the Keep The Music Playing tour. Known as one of the most influential groups of the American folk revival, the Trio helped shape popular music with unforgettable songs like Tom Dooley, Where Have All the Flowers Gone, Greenback Dollar, MTA, Scotch & Soda, and more.
The Kingston Trio was one of the defining acts of the pop-folk boom, rising to national fame in 1958 with Tom Dooley, which sold more than three million copies as a single. Their impact on music history is undeniable, influencing artists such as Bob Dylan, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Eagles, Mumford & Sons, and The Avett Brothers. The group also released 19 albums that reached Billboard’s Top 100, with 14 reaching the Top 10 and five hitting No. 1.
Today’s lineup, featuring Mike Marvin, Tim Gorelangton, and Paul Robinson, carries on the group’s legacy with strong ties to the original members and a deep respect for the music that made The Kingston Trio an American institution.
