During the Great War, 116 young men who had attended Blackburn Orphanage in Lancashire, went to war to fight for their King and their Country. Fifteen of them never returned. One of them was only recorded by his name, William North ... the forgotten orphan.His story is imagined in this play, which recounts how a generation of ordinary men did an extraordinary thing.
The production is directed by Ruth Simpson and the part of William will be played by Nathan Simpson.
During the run of the show, the original artwork for the script cover will be on display in the bar.
