As part of the Indianapolis Rare Book Fair, renowned military historian Robert Cowley will discuss his latest book The Killing Season at 2 pm on Saturday, April 18th at the Columbia Club on Monument Circle.In the book, he explores how the First Battle of Ypres in the fall of 1914 proved a decisive turning point in history, preventing the German Army from continuing its offensive and resulting in four more years of stalemate.
Tickets cost $20, $15 for veterans and students and include entry to the Indianapolis Rare Book Fair which will take place at the same venue.
