You’ve voted. You’ve shared. You’ve rallied for your favorite furry friends… and now it’s time for the ULTIMATE showdown!The Kerrville Daily Times 2026 Mutt Madness bracket competition is heading into the Final Four — and we’re taking the FINAL ROUND offline and into the real world!
Instead of finishing voting online, we’re hosting our championship round LIVE at Tailchasers Patio Pub & Grill!

⏰ 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM Voting
🏆 Winners announced at 7:30 PM!
If your pup is still in the competition, you have a chance to be in the FINAL FOUR — so mark your calendar now! We will tag our Final 4 contestants (1, 2, 3 & 4), and the community will drop their votes in person at the event. Voting will close at 7 PM sharp, and at 7:30 PM we’ll call the top dogs on stage to announce our runner-ups and officially crown the 2026 Mutt Madness Champion!
Gifts will be awarded to our runner-ups AND our Grand Champion!
Here’s what else is happening that night:
5:30–6:30 PM: Iron Wolf Distillery Tasting
6:30–8:30 PM: Live music by Pickers Circle featuring Tre, Jay & Shay
Specialty dog-themed cocktails & mocktails
Delicious food

And to make the night even better — Tailchasers is hosting their own March Madness… sandwich-style! Their Sandwich Showdown bracket is happening all month long, with menu favorites battling it out for a permanent spot. So you can taste, vote, and enjoy TWO brackets in one night!
This event is open to the ENTIRE Kerrville community — whether you’re competing, voting, or just want a fun night out surrounded by adorable dogs and great company.
