Participants will explore the essentials of pacing, structure, sound, and visual storytelling, along with tips for staying organized, sharpening your narrative focus, and elevating the emotional impact of your work. Whether you’re building your first short film or refining your documentary craft, this session offers actionable guidance to strengthen your editing process from start to finish. Join us and learn how thoughtful editing can transform raw footage into powerful, polished stories.

Free parking is available on the west and south sides of the building, with additional parking in the lots north of 31st Street. The KC Streetcar stop at 31st and Main is less than a block from Kansas City PBS.
