PRE-REQUISITE: Advanced Scenes 1. However, if you confidently completed Intro 2 and would like a challenge you are welcome in this course as well.

Back by popular demand after a very sold out debut in our summer semester, welcome to a high-level improv intensive for folks looking to take a major step in their improv. The Kaleidoscope Intensive is designed to offer you countless new skills and approaches to your comedy offered by four of Blind Tiger Comedy’s world-class faculty.
After a week of work, the faculty will meet outside of class and prepare custom diagnostic feedback for each student, working together to suggest what they agree are your strengths and areas you could most benefit from further practice.
Each day, you and your classmates will have a different focus:
Monday August 10– with Tom Hill – Mischief and Play
Tuesday August 11– with Allie Entwistle – Deep, Bold Characters
Wednesday August 12– with Della Haddock– Invest in Your Environment
Thursday August 13 – with Kevin Vidal – Game of the Game
Friday August 14 – with Tom Hill – Emotional Characters & Collected Feedback
Each of these days will be a deep dive into that topic - like five electives back-to-back-to-back-you get it. Each one will offer its own distinct approach and takeaways, while also being presented in the context of what came before and is coming afterwards.
After the fourth day, the faculty will meet and discuss each student, highlighting what they noticed and looking for consensus. On the fifth day, you and the group will dive into one more session and then Blind Tiger Comedy Artistic Director Tom Hill will sit down with each of you to go through the consensus feedback of the teaching team.
This course is our twist on the Annoyance Theater’s Intensive, and is meant to offer a rigorous and dynamic week of training for folks who want to amp up their skills in one sweet week. By the end, your brain and your notebook will be full, and you’ll be ready to look at your old improv self with the benefit of a whole new kaleidoscope of perspectives.

- This class is for folks ages 18+
Venue Accessibility - The venue is accessible from the street level with no steps up – the main door has a significant lip, but the side door (which will be unlocked for classes) is level to the sidewalk. Click here for more info!
Refunds & Cancellations – a 100% refund is available up to two weeks before your class begins. Within two weeks of the class start, registration is non-refundable.
