The Kalamazoo Concert Band presents: A WORLD Of DANCE featuring the the Movement Reservoir Dance Company! Some people feel that if there are shortcuts to happiness, dancing is one of them. To find out if this is true, we invite you to experience a concert titled “World of Dance.” A partial listing of what’s in the program includes: “Havana Dances” (Standridge), “Waltz No. 2” (Shostakovich), “Symphonic Dance No. 3” (Fiesta) (Williams) as well as a paso doble or two along with other thrilling dance tunes. Make no mistake, this concert is for you even if you consider dancing as the art of getting your feet out of the way faster than your partner can step on them! This concert is a sure-fire way to add to your musical travel memories.
