Birmingham Children's Theatre's Summer Library Tour is back and this year we're bringing "The Jungle Book" straight from the page to the stage! What happens when a curious kid gets lost in the jungle? A whole lot of fun! This summer, Birmingham Children’s Theatre is bringing "The Jungle Book" to life with Birmingham Public Libraries — for free! Your family will be on the edge of your seats as Mowgli befriends Baloo the Bear and Bagheera the panther, outwits a gang of sneaky monkeys, and comes face-to-face with the fierce tiger, Shere Khan, in this fast-paced retelling of the classic Rudyard Kipling tales. It's a perfect outing for young adventurers: great live theatre at your neighborhood library this June and July.
PLEASE NOTE, our five performances take place at four different library locations:
Sat June 20 at BPL Central Branch
Sat June 27 at Five Points West
Sat July 11 at Springville Road
Sat July 18 at Avondale Library
Sat July 25 at BPL Central Branch
All library performances are at 10:30am
All performances are free but space is limited at a lot of these locations so make sure to save your seat ahead of time on our website.
We can't wait to see you at the library this summer!
