After the passing of the great Astrud Gilberto, bossa nova pioneer, Josie set out to honor the late singer through writing original compositions based on her life. So came her debut album, Komorebi. From up-tempo sambas to eerie bossa ballads, Komorebi displays a beautiful range of Brazilian jazz through the lens of original compositions.
