Come and join us for the first Johnnie K Foundation Book Hunt. If you are thinking to yourself, “what is a book hunt?”, envision hunting for Easter eggs but instead, you are searching for wrapped, gently used, contemporary hardback and paperback books. Every entrant is guaranteed at least one book and a canvas bag to use for hunting with the potential of finding additional books. The entrance fee for the event is $20 until April 13, 2026. After that time, the fee will increase to $25 with registration closing on April 24, 2026. Payment can be made by either personal check which can be sent to The Johnnie K Foundation, PO Box 954, Adamstown, PA 19501. Please make sure to include the entrant’s name and phone number along with the check. In addition, payment will be accepted via Venmo at Johnnie-K-01. If sending a Venmo payment, please include the entrant’s name and “book hunt” in the description.
In addition to the hunt, there will be a baked goods raffle so you can win some goodies to take home and eat while you are reading your new books.
