THE WODS ARE HERE!
WOD 1 - "Vertical Vixen"
Within a 9 minute time cap:
As a team, Partners must lift a total of 8000lb./6500lb. from Ground to Overhead.
Any ground to overhead movement is allowed. The barbell must simply start on the ground (both plates on the ground) and move to the overhead position - stacked and locked out.
Possible strategies to lift the bar from ground to overhead include:
1 - Clean (any Clean) and Jerk (any Press)
2 - Snatch (any Snatch)
Each partner must use the same barbell and same weights. The team may decide what weight to use. The weights cannot be changed during the workout.
The partners DO NOT have to lift equal reps. The team can split the weight lifted as they choose.
SCORE - Time or Reps within the time cap
Tie Breaker - Weight chosen
WOD 2 - "Rival's Revelation"
AMRAP 9
Partner 1 - Bike 15/11 cals
Partner 2 - AMRAP "Devil Box Press" with 2 dumbbells 25/20 (Perform a burpee on dumbbells, clean dumbbells to front rack, step up onto 20/16 box and press at the top = 1 rep)
Partners switch when bike calories are completed.
Score = Total Devil Box Presses in 9 minutes
WOD 3 - "Walking in a Winter Wonderland"
Within a 12 minute time cap:
4 Rounds for Time
Partner A - Completes 30 - 10 meter shuttle runs (touch and go)
Partner B - Walking Lunge with a plate overhead 25/15 for distance
Partners switch after Partner A completes shuttle runs.
Score = Distance of walking lunges completed by both partners (taken every 5 meters) within the time cap.
(Each partner will shuttle run twice and walking lunge twice.)
