This in-person event is all about raw emotion, creative expression, and connecting with fellow poetry lovers. Whether you're reading your latest piece or cheering on the brave souls who do, it's a night to celebrate words that hit deep. Bring your friends, your stories, and your passion for poetry. Let's make some magic happen—one poem at a time!
Read a poem that you wrote or a poem that someone else wrote. You do not need to read a poem to attend the event. You are absolutely welcome to just attend and listen.
DETAILS/LOGISTICS:-This event is taking place in the Carl Guild & Associates office located at 392 S Main St Unit #2, Colchester, CT 06415.
There is plenty of free and easy parking. We are grateful to them for allowing us to use their space!-Sign-up will start at 6:30 PM. Event will begin promptly at 7 PM.
We will go in order of the sign-up list. One poem only, please. You do not need to memorize your poem – it is totally OK to read from your phone, a book, or piece of paper.-Time Limit: Participants have up to 3 minutes to read their poem.
Water and light refreshments will be provided.
