From award-winning writer and director Frank Lotito (Big Mamma's Boy, Wog Boys Forever) comes a brand-new comedy stage show that's equal parts heartwarming, hilarious, and culturally chaotic: THE ITALIAN DIVORCE - a laugh-out-loud, tear-alittle comedy that dives headfirst into the madness of culture, love, and the kind of family you can't return to sender.
When 36-year-old Pino gets kicked out by his wife, he does what any selfrespecting Italian man would do, he moves back in with his parents, who happen to live next door.
What was meant to be a short break from his wife quickly turns into a full-blown family fiasco. His overbearing mother is already planning his next wedding, his father dishes out advice from 1971, and his fiercely independent sister urges him to flee the country. Meanwhile, his wife wants him to grow a spine and cut the apron strings, and Dimitri, the Greek neighbour, keeps turning up with ouzo and unsolicited wisdom.
