About this Event
As the humanitarian crisis in Gaza deepens, Israeli hostages remain in captivity, and no clear resolution is in sight, The Conversation offers a rare civic space to grapple with the core questions at the heart of this global crisis. The play gives voice to conflicting narratives surrounding:
- October 7th
- War crimes and genocide
- The right to self-defense
- Two-State vs. One-State solutions
- Antisemitism, Islamophobia, and American complicity
- The legacy of ‘48, ’67, ’73, and beyond
It poses a stark and timely question: Do we want to be “right” in never-ending arguments — or effective in saving lives and finding urgently needed solutions?
Co-presented by J Street, The Center for Humanities & the Arts, The Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center, and the CO Friends of Standing Together.
