The Interesting Times Gang are back. And if you're already nodding, you know what's up. If you're not, strap in. Imagine a musical lovechild of Rush, Zappa and that moment in a film when everything goes a bit sideways but you're weirdly into it. It's proggy, heavy, odd, playful and always, always better live than seems entirely reasonable. These folks don’t play shows. They put on events. Rituals. Happenings. You’ll leave confused and delighted.Opening the night is Mawhrin Skel, the melodic electronica project of Andrew Culture. It’s the sound of wires getting weird. Think catchy rhythms laced with unexpected orchestral flourishes and just enough strangeness to keep your subconscious on its toes.
Second on the bill: Relevant Boy. Brand new and already kicking up a racket worth paying attention to. Punk-ish, raw and righteously loud. We don't know much about them yet, but we know the people involved, and those people don’t make rubbish bands. Come see what the fuss will very shortly be about.
