About this Event
The Intentional Impact Capstone Experience - Resilience in Perspective
The Intentional Impact Capstone marks the culmination of our shared journey through meaningful conversations, reflection, and growth. Rooted in the themes of perspective and resilience, this experience invites participants into a hands-on creative process that explores how we interpret challenges and intentionally rebuild from them.
Just as a mosaic is formed by assembling individual pieces, often imperfect, into something whole and meaningful, we too have the ability to reshape our experiences through perspective. The lotus symbolizes personal transformation, the ability to rise, grow, and find meaning even through challenging and uncertain conditions. Together, these elements create a powerful representation of rebuilding with intention and clarity.
This experience offers space to explore how shifting perspective influences our ability to navigate difficulty, remain grounded, and move forward with purpose. This gathering is not about artistic perfection, but about presence, awareness, and integration. Each participant will leave with their own mosaic lotus piece as a tangible reminder of their capacity to reframe, rebuild, and rise.
Participants will learn how to create a beautiful 7”x5” standing lotus using stained glass. Throughout the experience, they will be introduced to the basics of mosaic art, including how to nip stained glass, explore different cutting styles, and thoughtfully lay out pieces to achieve a clean, cohesive design. Instruction will also cover the use of Apoxie Sculpt, eliminating the need for traditional grouting. Participants will receive guidance on how to source materials for future projects, and a display stand is included.
Prerequisite for Participation: Participation in this capstone gathering requires having attended at least one Intentional Impact session in April or/and May. This ensures a shared foundation and allows the capstone experience to build meaningfully on the work already explored together.
