The Infinite Shining Heavens concert inspired by the stars

As part of the Wider weekend event elebrating the anniversary year of Dr Cecilia Payne-Gaposchkin and her extraordinary achievements, we are delighed to welcome pianist Anna Tilbrook, soprano Claire Booth and soprano Katherine Gregory to Newnham for a specially commissioned performance.

Programne to include songs by composers ranging from Schubert and Clara Schumann to Knussen, Elizabeth Maconchy and Muriel Herbert via Debussy, Nadia Boulanger, Mussorgsky and Rachmaninov.
