How much of your improv is what you’ve learned to survive improvising with others? Because improv is collaborative, our play can’t help but be a reflection of the people that we improvise with. The grand ideals that we learn in class (Say “Yes”, Slow Down), and our strongest improv aspirations (I want to listen and be positive) fall to the wayside in the dog-eat-dog reality of “real world” improvising. How do we maintain the play we prefer when facing the snarling canines of a pack of wild improvisers?
We have community standards, a conflict process, and a COVID prevention policy in place. Agreement/acceptance of these policies is required to participate in BATS classes. Please use the links above to access and read these policies, and check the boxes during registration to indicate your agreement/confirmation.
