Fresh from recording their second album, separated by a mere 10 years from their first, the UKs favourite keyboard driven New Orleans voodoo misfits bring their blend of original grooves and classic Crescent City funk covers to Ronnie Scott's for one night only.

In the meantime songwriter and bandleader Dom Pipkin has been "lazing around" and rejoining British trip-hop pionners Morcheeba for whom he was keyboard player back in 1996, appearing on their "Big Calm" album. Travelling the world with the band, making solo appearaces with his New Orleans solo piano shows from the UK to San Fancisco, and recording his own solo records.

The coming together of the band - Dom, Michael, Jimmy, Mirco and Trevor is always a unique experience, and with special guest players primed to join the gang on the night, this will be an Ikos tour-de-force with material from both albums peppered with choice funky selections from the world of the Meters, Dr John and Professor Longhair completing the gumbo.

Pipkin has been acclaimed worldwide as one the foremost exponenets of New Orleans keyboard music - a regular player in that city, his association goes back to pre-Katrina, and he's appeared alongside Allen Toussaint and Ellis Marsalis, and supported Dr John and Screamin' Jay Hawkins.
