Andy Crocker’s presentation, “The HUMAN Leader: How to Lead in Today’s Aerospace Industry,” is grounded in a 30-year career in aerospace and defense. Though he comes from a technical background, he discusses leadership through a distinctly human lens. He provides a framework that emphasizes values like connection, respect, authenticity, and ownership to navigate both success and failure in high-stress, complex aerospace organizations. Finally, he offers practical applications to help audience members improve resilience, performance, and growth and increase personal fulfillment.

Bio:

Andy Crocker is an aerospace executive, author, and speaker with three decades of experience building and leading high-performance teams on ambitious programs in human and robotic exploration, hypersonics, and missile defense. He is an Associate Fellow of AIAA and holds degrees in engineering, humanities, management, and leadership. Today, he helps organizations and individuals build values-based cultures.
