Gina Scarano is passionate about bringing soil back to life. With over 20 years of experience in small-scale farming, she is a certified Soil Food Web consultant specializing in biological soil assessments through Dr. Elaine Ingham’s Soil Food Web School. Her work is rooted in a commitment to community and resilient local food systems, driven by the understanding that soil health, plant health, and human health are interconnected. A farmer turned soil nerd, Gina believes that if we take care of the soil, it will take care of us.
Library Parking & Entrance Information:
While the library's main entrance is under construction, we remain open. Clear signage will guide visitors to a temporary, fully accessible entrance via a ramp in the southeast alley, leading to the dock entrance.
The library parking lot also remains open, with temporary entry and exit available via Euclaire Avenue only. Parking may be limited, so we encourage you to arrive early and use street parking on Euclaire, Mound, and other nearby streets.
