The Host | Sitcom Screening and Live Stand Up Show

Join us for a special night of stand-up comedy and a screening of the series pilot for “The Host” created by Luke Soin and the dudes at Hyper Live! 

The stand-up portion of the show will feature comedians who play parts in “The Host,” including headliner Shane Mauss (Comedy Central, WTF with Marc Maron, Conan). The show will also feature Gabriel Alexander, Britt Birrer, Shaheen Khal, Mikel Nordstrom, and The Host himself, Luke Soin.

Info: The Host is a sitcom following two stand-up comedians in Sacramento, CA, Luke (Luke Soin) and Mike (Mikel Nordstrom). Together they produce a comedy show in Luke’s backyard called, “Cornerhouse Comedy.” In this episode Shane Mauss (Comedy Central, WTF with Marc Maron, Conan) guest stars as himself, asking Luke and Mike for a designer drug called "Pilly Poppers." But they've never heard of the drug before. Will they be able to find it before showtime? Or will they fail their biggest headliner yet in... THE HOST!
