What does that mean? To keep the Open Mic fun and welcoming for everyone, we ask all performers to keep material within PG-13 boundaries:
> A little light swearing is okay but avoid heavy profanity.
> Jokes can be suggestive, but not graphic or explicit.
> Dark or edgy humor is fine, just don’t get too violent or disturbing.
> Absolutely no hate speech, slurs, or targeting marginalized groups.
> Think of it like a PG-13 movie: funny, a little edgy, but still suitable for a wide audience.
The Hope & Anchor Open Mic is a great chance for first-timers, newer comics, and stage regulars alike to get up and try out new material or sharpen the set they’re already working on.

> Set Times: Comics get 5 minutes. If you’re traveling from outside the Stateline area, you’ll receive 7 minutes.
> Out-of-Town Comics: If you’re coming from outside the Stateline area, please message the Fats Productions Presents Facebook Page to claim a guaranteed spot on the list.
