Teach the Machine: A Free Intro to AI for Youth
Artificial intelligence is already shaping the world our young people will inherit — but for most kids, it still feels like magic happening somewhere far away. This workshop pulls the curtain back.
In one hour, participants will train their own AI model from scratch using Teachable Machine, a free tool built by Google. They'll choose what they want the computer to recognize — a thumbs-up, a dance move, the sound of clapping — show it examples through a webcam, and then watch the model learn in real time.
Kids walk away having built something real, with hands-on understanding of how machines actually learn from data.
No coding required. No prior experience needed. Just curiosity.
