Happy Holidays!The Holiday Project San Diego is back this year.
We will be getting together on Christmas Day - Thursday, December 25th at 10 am - at Balboa Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Please bring your family, friends, Santa hats and jingle bells to join us this Christmas morning and spread Christmas cheer to the patients at Balboa Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. It is an experience you will never forget, and what you give the residents with your presence is the gift of the Holiday Spirit!
We will be singing Christmas carols (song sheets provided) and spreading Christmas cheer to the patients. We will meet in the lobby at 9:45 am, practice singing a couple of songs together to warm up, and then at 10 am we will start Christmas caroling around the facility. We should be finished by 11:30 am.

Parking is available in the small parking lot behind the building on Walnut Ave. There is also street parking usually available on Sixth Ave adjacent to Balboa Park. Volunteers may bring dogs if desired with a copy of their vaccination record. We will be singing Christmas carols to the patients throughout the facility and handing out small gifts. Some people have inquired about bringing spouses, children, friends, or others - the more the merrier! This event involves caroling and being with the patients. Please keep in mind that we are not allowed to bring food to the patients.
