About the Teachers
Yotam Cohen is a pianist and composer with a deep passion for Ragtime and early African American music. As an educator, he believes that the story of music should be experienced in a fun and engaging way—through playing percussion, listening to authentic voices from the past, and visualizing the musical framework that makes it all come alive.
Shao-ting Lee is a Taiwanese Blues dancer and researcher specializing in dance anthropology and choreomusicology. Based in Szeged, she dreams of spreading the ideas of call-and-response, the joy of improvisation, and the importance of self-expression across the world. She combines dance analysis methodology with dance practice, studying movement through both an academic and dancer-centered lens.
