We live in a world of extraordinary comfort and convenience. Almost anything we desire is available instantly. It is easy to drift into lives shaped by routine, distraction, and fleeting pleasures. None of these are inherently wrong — they are simply part of modern life.

And yet, beneath the noise, a quiet voice asks:

Is there something more?

Across time and cultures, the archetype of the Hero has endured. It speaks to something universal within us — something that longs to grow, to rise, to step beyond what is familiar.

• But what does it mean to be a Hero today?
• Why do we still need Heroes?
• And what would it mean to awaken the hero within — not someday, but now?

Is the Hero’s journey a distant myth…or a living path hidden within our everyday lives?

Through a thought-provoking talk and meaningful group dialogue, we will explore the timeless wisdom of the Hero’s journey and reflect on how it might apply to our modern world — and to our own inner lives.

🎟️ Tickets: Online ticket purchase required

🕖 Arrival: Doors open at 1:40 pm — our volunteers will welcome you at the entrance. The workshop begins at 2 pm, so we encourage you to arrive early to check in and settle in

📍 Location: The workshop will be held at 192 Spadina Avenue on the Third Floor. You can use the stairs or the elevator (just a heads up—it’s cozy and sometimes a bit slow).

🪪 Check-In: Have your Eventbrite ticket handy (with your name and barcode). For security, tickets must include your full name, and ID may be requested.
