This workshop is part of the 2024 Nevada Humanities Literary Crawl.

Fantasy and science fiction can build whole worlds for us to explore. How can we build these worlds to reflect the diversity of our own? Join Heretics December Cuccaro and Naseem Jamnia to think through questions of inclusion in speculative fiction. We'll combine classic worldbuilding techniques with key questions to consider. Bring a world you’re currently building, examples from beloved stories, or just excitement! Free and open to the public and writers of all levels of experience. Space is limited; registration is required.

This workshop will meet at the E.L. Cord Classroom, Lake Mansion, Arts for All Nevada (250 Court Street).
