About this Event
Thank you for considering our school for your child’s education. The Henry Box School has been an integral part of the Witney community since 1660. Our students are proud to be part of The Henry Box family because it is a very special place to learn and grow.
As your child approaches the transition to secondary school, we understand how important it is for families to feel informed and confident about the school environment that your child will be going into. With that in mind, we are opening our doors to Year 5 families to provide a warm introduction to life at The Henry Box.
The morning will begin with tea, coffee, and biscuits in the company of our Senior Leadership Team and School Council. This informal setting will give you the chance to ask questions, hear directly from our students, and learn more about our ethos and approach.
Following the coffee morning, there will be guided tours of the school, led by one of our School Leaders. During the tour, you will visit a range of Year 7 lessons giving you a valuable insight into the learning environment and opportunities we offer our pupils from the moment they arrive in Year 7.
We look forward to beginning your transition journey here and building your excitement for our Open Evening in September.
You will be guided around the school by a member of our School Leadership Team and have the chance to ask any questions you might have about life at The Henry Box School.
