In a world that moves quickly, journaling invites you to slow down and listen inward. There are moments in life when words feel hard to find—and others when they are the very thing that carries us through. Journaling is more than putting pen to paper. It can be a quiet companion in times of grief, a steady place to land in uncertainty, and a pathway back to your own voice. On May 26, deJoly LaBrier is offering a guided journaling workshop at the local library, centered around the healing power of the pen. This space was created with intention and care, inspired by deJoly’s own healing journey that included writing for clarity and release.
This workshop is open to anyone who feels the pull to write—whether you are:
• navigating loss or life transitions
• seeking clarity or emotional release
• wanting to reconnect with yourself
• or simply curious about where writing might lead
You don’t need to be a writer. You don’t need to have the “right” words. You only need a willingness to begin.
Through gentle prompts and guided reflection, you’ll be invited to explore your thoughts in a safe, supportive space. There is no pressure to share—only an opportunity to listen inward and let the pen lead.
Participants are asked to bring a picture of themselves as a child 5 years old or younger. Also pen and paper.
