The Head On Board Skate Jam

The Head On Board mental health project presents a skate jam hosted at The Source Park that recognises the importance of movement, being active & good mental health. £8 jam entry, all proceeds will be donated to The Ben Raemers Foundation charity. Free to spectate.
The event will run from 9am at The Source Park in Hastings and will feature categories for everyone including Under 11's Mixed, Under 17's Girls & Boys, Over 18's Girls & Boys, Over 40's Veterans + Best Trick Bowl Jam (cash for tricks). Product and cash prizes up for grabs!

9am - 11am: 11 and Under Mixed
11.15am - 12.15pm: 17 and Under Girls
12.30pm - 1.30pm: 17 and Under Boys
2pm - 3.30pm: 18 and Over Girls
3.45pm - 5.15pm: 18 and Over Mens
5.30pm - 7pm: 40 and Over Veterans
7.30pm - 8.45pm: Best Trick Bowl Jam (Cash for Tricks)

A General Admission ticket will allow you:
- Event Spectator entry (9am - 9pm)
- 1/2 Price Plaza skatepark entry (subject to numbers)
A Skate Jam ticket will allow you:
- Event Spectator entry (9am - 9pm)
- Main Skatepark entry (as per your category time)
- 1/2 Price Plaza skatepark entry (subject to numbers)
FAQs
Do I need a ticket to watch this event?
Yes, tickets are compulsory for entrance to this event. General admission tickets are free.
Do I need a ticket to enter the skate jam?
Yes, you will need to pay £8 entry fee to enter your particular category, which can be found under tickets. All proceeds from jam entry will be donated to The Ben Raemers Foundation charity.
What can I skate in the jams?
The main room, you will be allowed to skate any part of the main room course in your lines. The Best Trick Bowl Jam will be using the main room big bowl.
Can I skate the parks?
Plaza - Anyone can skate the plaza throughout the day for 1/2 price entry (subject to numbers)
Main Park - Only pre-registered skate jam competitors can skate the main park from 10am-5pm. From 7.30pm, the main park will be open to skaters and spectators for the best trick bowl jam.
Is there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There are no age limits to the Event. However anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Can I bring my own food and Alcohol?
Unfortunately our license won't allow food or Alcoholic drink brought into the venue. Food, drink and alcohol will be available within the Source Park
Can I film and take photos?
Yes. During the skate jam, you will be allowed to film or take photos from the balcony area. During the best trick bowl jam, you will be allowed to film or take photos from anywhere including the course level.
Is there wheelchair Access?
Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access into the Source Park Bowl. (there is wheelchair access to the courtyard via a lift from the beach shop)
