East Lansing, MI – Lansing-based theater group The Audio Air Force is excited to announce upcoming live performances of an audio adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s classic horror novel, “The Haunting of Hill House.” Performances will be held at the Hannah Community Center in East Lansing on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 at 7pm.
This immersive experience will transport audiences into the chilling world of Hill House, where a group of individuals gather to investigate the haunted mansion’s dark secrets. The Audio Air Force has secured first-time rights to produce an audio version of the story from F. Andrew Leslie’s stage adaptation of the novel. Listeners can expect suspenseful storytelling, chilling sound effects, and haunting music that will create a truly immersive experience.
“We are excited to bring this timeless horror story to our community in a new and exciting format,” said Dave Downing, Founder and Executive Director of AAF. “It’s a real honor for Audio Air Force and a coup for Lansing to be the first city to host this adaptation, just in time for Halloween!”
