About this Event
Join local music teacher/composer Andy Jarema at Palmer Park as he shares his research into the relationship between bird song and music. Attendees will learn about the fascinating science behind bird song and trace the history of music composers utilizing bird song in their works. Attendees will also participate in listening exercises to identify birds by ear, including a bird walk to try out their listening skills in the wild! All ages and ability levels welcome.

We will have binoculars for attendees to borrow.
