About this Event

The Hardest Tackle: Mental Health and the Realities of Football

Bridge the gap between dreams and reality.

We are often sold the "after" photo, the trophy, the promotion, the breakthrough. But most of us are living in the "during." We are in that restless space between the ambition we hold and the reality we face every morning. This is 'The Gap' and it’s where the most important work of our lives actually happens.

Tales Of The Game is a premium podcast dedicated to exploring that space. In collaboration with BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, we're bringing you into the room for unfiltered, high-stakes conversations with those who have navigated the world's most competitive industries.

Hosted by Saleem Akanbi, this inaugural live event features a dual-guest (TBA) deep-dive into the grit, the setbacks, and the blueprints of high performance.

Welcome to Tales Of The Game.

A Commitment to the Community

We have worked tirelessly to ensure this event remains free and accessible to the community. Our mission is to ensure that no one is excluded from the insights and "gems" shared in this room due to a price tag.

However, by registering for a ticket, you are making a commitment to the special environment and elite network we have fostered.

Please note:

  • The Capacity: We have strictly limited seating. By grabbing a ticket, you are taking a position that could have gone to another ambitious, eager, and driven innovator.
  • The Conscience: We ask that you only register if you are certain you can attend. If your plans change, please release your ticket immediately so that another future leader may have a seat in our arena.

*Tickets are valid until 18:20. After this time, any unclaimed seats may be released to our waitlist at the door.” This ensures the room is full for the 18:30 recording start*
