Welcome to the 2nd Annual Guild 7 Trail Race! This route is a favorite for many Chattanooga area locals. It's a well groomed "truck" trail. Popular to runners, walkers, hikers, and cyclists.
This race will present a challenge to all who sign up. The Guild-Hardy Trail has one of the more interesting histories of all recreational corridors converted from a former railroad grade. The right-of-way dates back to the 1880s, when the route’s express purpose was to handle passenger traffic seeking to reach the top of popular Lookout Mountain located near Chattanooga.
Your first 3.5 miles will be all uphill and will lead you to the turnaround point at a large boulder which rolled down on the trail many years ago. Then you will turn around and get ready for a fun 3.5 mile descent back to the start finish line!
The Guild 7 Trail Race will be limited to 100 participants. Secure your spot now and don't miss out!

PARKING WILL BE LIMITED! PLEASE CARPOOL WHEN POSSIBLE. We will only have about 100 parking spots near the the starting area. Thanks to Ruby Falls for allowing us to use some of their parking lot. We will be allowed to park in the parking lot that runs along the Guild Trail, the gravel lot and The Owl section of Ruby Falls parking lot. We will have some cones there and and someone helping with parking. We will also have access to Lookout Mountain Conservancy parking lot approximately 1 mile from the race start. If you're looking for a warm up, please park here. We will provide a shuttle if necessary from this parking lot. However, you will have to walk or get your own transportation back after the race. The last shuttle will pick up at 7:30 am. So please pick up your packet the day before.
Packet Pickup: Friday 9/12 from 4 pm - 7pm at Fleet Feet Chattanooga, 307 Manufacturer's Road, Chattanooga, TN 37405
Packet Pickup Race Day from 6:30 am - 7:45 am.
Race start: 8 am
We will start on time. Remember no shuttle from LMC after 7:30 am. Carpooling is recommended.
