In this second session of the Growth Lab Series, we’ll dive into four powerful tools that help you do exactly that: Personas, Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), the AIDA funnel, and Willingness to Pay (WTP) vs Willingness to Accept (WTA).
What we’ll cover
- Personas & ICPs – Turn vague “target market” ideas into clear profiles of who you actually want to serve (and who you don’t).
- The AIDA funnel – A simple way to structure your marketing and sales journey: from Attention to Interest, Desire, and Action.
- WTP vs WTA – Practical ways to explore what customers are willing to pay, and what you as a business are willing to accept, so pricing becomes a strategic lever and not guesswork.
We’ll bridge theory to practice using a local context – real channels (WhatsApp, Meta, in-person), real constraints, and examples from African SMEs and service businesses. You’ll leave with simple templates you can use the next day.
