Join former Gannon University biology professor Dr. Steve Ropski, as he will discuss the reproduction, hibernation, feeding habits, and status of the grizzly bears of Yellowstone National Park. Ropski, who just recently retired from Gannon after teaching there for 41 years, has taken 41 groups to Yellowstone and has written a tourist guide for the park, which will be available for purchase. While at Gannon, he taught Wildlife Management and Ecology and did research on bats. He has been hired by Off the Beaten Path/Smithsonian to continue leading tours out west.
