Whats it all about?
Our traders travel from around the UK to bring you a lovely eclectic mix of mid-century furniture and homewares. Doing away with expensive replicas and focusing on quality and affordability, the Flea provides an antidote; a celebration of mid-century living from the 50s and beyond, the event offers up TOP vintage traders, all offering furniture, fashion and homewares without costing the earth.
With traders coming from all over the UK, expect to see the eclectic chairs, tables and more by giants like Ercol and G-Plan, barware and kitchenalia, textiles and fabrics, sewing machines, cameras, record players and radios, cocktail glasses and figurines, posters and magazines, lampshades, mirrors and more - from toys to telephones, ceramics to lighting, no box is left unticked.
Getting to Borough Hall:
It couldnt be easier - its a short 5 minute walk from Greenwich DLR , Thameslink & Southeastern.
Why choose Borough Hall?
Wait until you see this venue, its an important example of a 1930s municipal building in the Dudok-inspired style and believed by architectural historian Pevsner to be ‘the only town hall of any London borough to represent the style of our time adequately’. Its Grade ll listed, was constructed in 1939, and has been used for many purposes before being shut down and added to the 'at risk' register in 2022. Now its been purchased and lovingly restored and the new owners want to give it to the community by using it for sustainable endeavours like ours - where we hope to curate magical mid century markets for everyone to enjoy!
