Hosted collaboratively by University of Plymouth Pakistan Society, University of Exeter Pakistan Society, University of Bristol Pakistan Society, and University of Cardiff Pashtun Society, this special night brings together students and communities from across the South-West for an evening of unity, heritage, and soul-stirring music
🎶 What is Qawwali? 🎶
Qawwali is a centuries-old form of Sufi devotional music, designed to uplift the soul and create a deep spiritual connection through poetry, rhythm, and powerful vocals. Known for its hypnotic harmoniums, clapping patterns, and emotionally charged performances, Qawwali is not just music—it’s an experience that resonates long after the final note.
🌟 Live Performance by RAAG Qawwali Group 🌟
The night will feature a mesmerising live performance by RAAG Qawwali Group, renowned for blending classical tradition with contemporary energy. Their performances are immersive, passionate, and known for captivating audiences of all backgrounds — whether you’re a lifelong listener or experiencing Qawwali for the very first time!
🍽️ Food:
• A meal is included with every ticket! (A short Microsoft form will be sent out to fill out dietary requirements in advance!)
🚍 Travel Included:
• University of Bristol, University of Cardiff and University of Plymouth tickets include return bus travel to and from the event!
🚫 Travel Not Included:
• University of Exeter tickets DO NOT include travel
All travel provided will be via coach buses, ensuring a comfortable journey to and from the venue.
Please purchase a ticket based on the university or geographical location you are affiliated with, as some tickets include travel while others do not.
