We’re throwing a party that would make Jay Gatsby blush! Join us as we read F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel from beginning to end in a single night. Themed drinks and snacks will be available throughout the evening to keep the party alive, and festive attire is encouraged. Yes, there will be a prize for the best dressed!Reading will commence at 5:30 p.m. and is estimated to conclude around midnight, once the last sentence has been uttered. There will be an intermission at 9 p.m. when the best dressed individual will be recognized. Volunteers will take shifts reading aloud as a crowd follows along. All ages are welcome and everyone is encouraged to volunteer, though it is not required.
