TAUGHT BY FRANK HEGYI
A three part course taking place once a month for the new director who has a background in either acting or writing, but are looking to expand thier skills on the camera side.
Part one will teach you to learn how to create the look you have in your head. This session will go through every knob and dial you can turn on the camera to make the picture look the way you want. (Class in session April 16th.)
Part two learn to think like an editor on set. How will these shots cut together to tell the story? How many angles do we need of this scene? What is “The Line,” and why is it important? (Class in session May 16th.)
Part three train your eye to see the lighting in a shot. After this session, you’ll be able to pause any Hollywood movie and see a lighting plot in your head. (Class in session June 13th.)
