BIO
Vivian Rubio, is a dedicated Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC II) and Intervention specialist whose personal journey of recovery fuels her passion for addiction treatment. Graduating with honors from Pierce College in 2018, she brings six years of invaluable clinical experience across diverse treatment settings. Now IOP Program Manager and proud part of the team at Friendly House, Vivian is committed to fostering positive change within the community.
Vivian's commitment to helping others is deeply rooted, influenced by her family—her identical twin sister shares her devotion to addiction counseling. Currently pursuing licensure as a marriage and family therapist at Antioch University Los Angeles, she is propelled by a comprehensive approach to healing, ensuring the best possible outcomes for her clients.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Vivian is an educator. She advocates for LGBTQIA+ inclusivity and transgender awareness within treatment centers. As an openly transgender woman, she empowers others to create more inclusive environments for all individuals
seeking support with a blend of compassion, expertise, and advocacy, Vivian Rubio continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others, embodying resilience and dedication every step of the way.
