Following the success of our 2024 production of‘Yanomamo’ by Peter Rose and Anne Conlon, The Grand Choir now presents ‘Ocean World’, another of Rose and Conlon's compositions produced for St Augustine’s High School, Billington.
In this new choral arrangement, ‘Ocean World’ follows the
journey of a whale and her calf as they navigate an ocean in
turmoil. Forty years from when it was first performed, the environmental issues raised are still highly relevant and continue to ask the question at the heart this musical: "Who cares what becomes of the ocean?"
When: Sunday 5th July, doors at 4pm for a 4.30pm start.
Where: The Grand Venue, York St. Clitheroe
Tickets £10 or £8 choir members/concession.
A donation from proceeds will go to the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF).
