The Grab Bag Variety Show, produced by Dirty Jobb Productions, is back at their home bar to bring you the next installation of your favorite blind box drag show to the historic Horseshoe Bar and Cabaret in Downtown Everett. Presenting the Grab Bag Variety Show: Frat Kings & Trap Queens!
Come join us on Saturday, May 30th, for a Big Sky-sized college-throwback-themed Grab Bag to relive the glory days of the 2010s! Raise a red solo cup with us and forget your worries as we pay homage to the house party, praise the polo shirt, and regale Greek row.
Doors and Queer Night Market open at 7:30pm and show starts at 8:30pm. Hosted by your favorite alumnus, Pam Jobb N. Moore, with the rest of the cast to be announced soon!
As a reminder, Dirty Jobb Productions has implemented the following changes to our Grab Bag format:
NO ONE TURNED AWAY FOR LACK OF FUNDS (NOTAFLOF): As community leaders, we are committed to reducing barriers which limit access to queer spaces. No one should lose access to their community due to finances. You will find a sliding-scale, donation-based option for general admission tickets available for purchase. A standard, "Pre-Sale" general admission option is also available for those who are able to afford the suggested ticket price. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door on a donation-based sliding scale.
TRIBAL LAND USE COMPENSATION: As people who have forcibly and unlawfully settled on stolen Indigenous land, we are committed to not just acknowledging that fact but also committed to compensating the original and rightful stewards of this land. As compensation for using this land, 10% of all ticket sales will be paid to the local tribal land stewards. Horseshoe Bar & Cabaret is located on the stolen and unceded land of the dxʷlilap People, the sduhubš People, and the Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla People.
QUEER ART & VENDOR MARKET: The Grab Bag Variety Show now features not just performing artists but also visual artists! Come on out before the show for the Grab Bag's Night Market from 7:30pm - 8:30pm and during the show's intermission.
