About this Event
We keep hearing about how virtual production “is so cool”, “the next wave of production”, and “have you seen the Mandalorian? That’s an LED wall!” all of which is absolutely true, but what we aren’t hearing as much about is the gotchas of virtual production, from the 3D perspective to how this blends in with the actual production on the day of the shoot, and heck, how do we even bid and plan out this endeavor? We need to rearrange our brains to think in a new way as we delve into this medium. 3D isn’t just for post anymore!
Join us and our generous hosts, Resolution Digital Studios and Miller Creative, on June 27th, 2024, from 5-8PM, where we will show some work on the LED volume and have a Q&A where you ask the questions with folks from Resolution, Miller Creative, and independent artists to talk about the ‘gotchas’ of virtual production from various perspectives before and during production. Bring your questions, and don’t just listen to us yap away. We’re all still learning this, and we hope you do, too.
